My topic is about Earth pollution (Global Warming)

This issue interests me because I want to show people what we are really doing to the Earth in a fun way so they don't get bored.

I want people to learn how to save the Earth instead of killing it because they are going to have grand kids and their own kids when they get older and they will need a Earth to live on.

This need to be addressed because no one will survive on a very polluted and dirty Earth.

March Of The Penguins

1. Some of the challenges the penguins had to overcome were, facing the harsh cold winter and trying not to get eaten by predators.


2. Their habitat changed their lively hood because in the spring most of the ice melts and so that makes less land for them.


3. Some adaptations are that they have really thick fur and they need to be fatter in order to have their body heat keep warm.


4. Their is a period of time when their is no sun light because Antarctica is on the lower side of the Earth and when it's winter time it's mostly dark.

Yes is was kind of hard to make the things in Flash work but I eventually got the hang of it.

The best part of the topic was getting to deal with the codes on Flash and getting them to work .The worst part was having to fix the codes whenever they don't work and sometimes it can frustrate you.

I was about two years old.

I learned about it when I was in the third grade and my third grade teacher told us what happen that day.
What kind of impact did these attacks have on your life or your parents lives?
It impacted my life because people were getting killed on this important building in the U.S. and it is just sad.

 It means that you get to tell your story from where your from and the things that you experience is the story that you tell.

A single story that I've told about my community is that its a very intresting community.Everybody has a diffrent way of living.A thing that is missing from community is everybody living peacefully and not fighting.They can study how people live and see how they react to things.

People have been saying that the people from the north are white.People just assume that.I could go visit the north and see what its like.

The Lightning Thief Percy Jackson

The movie The Lightning Thief Percy Jackson was about this kid named Percy Jackson and he is the son of Poseidon the god of water.What percy dosen't know is that he is a half-blood (half human and half god).So they go on a quest to prove to the underworld god that he dosen't half the lightning bolt.So they find the bolt and returned it to Posiden so they won't have war.

Free Choice

I am going to talk about our Sea World trip that I went on yesterday.SeaWorld was fun I went on both roller costers 2 times each.We also played games and won prizes and saw elmo.The cool part about Sea World is that we got to wander off by ourselves or we could go with partners or we could stay with the teachers.Then we all headed back to the entrance of the park and we left back to Austin.

The Apollo 13

The Apollo 13  movie was about these 3 astronauts that are on a mission to go to the moon.The 3 astrnauts were Jim Lovell,Jack Swigert,and Fred Haise.They had a lot of problems in space that they had to compromise with and one of them was not going to the moon.They didn't have enough energy to go to land on the moon and back so they just passed up the moon and go back home.Then when they were back on Earth they were picked up from the ocean from the Navy and they went all back home and they celebrated.

The Lightning Thief

It was about this boy named Percy and he goes to Yale Academy.He is in a school that has trouble makers and mental kids.He has been in and out of 6 diffrent schools in the last 6 years.He has a latin teacher that wants him to be the best of the best in his class and Percy does not know why exactly that his teacher pushes him so hard.Then one day his teacher turned into some devil thingy and Percy killed her with a pen that turned into a sword.

My Choice

What I'm going to talk about today is about the new movie Fast Five.It is an awesome movie.It has many good actors from diffrent action movies.I think it's going to be the most famous movie of the year.I hope my parents get it on dvd when it comes on dvd.

Reflection of Globaloria

My experiences with a team is that I think it's better to be on a team then being by myself.If I was by mayself then I wouldve had to do all the work without a partner to help me.What I'm proud of in Glabaloria is that I have improved since the begining of the school year.I used not to be able to type without looking at the keyboard,now I can type without looking.What I learned about myself  is that I knew alot about computers than I really thought I did.What I learned about our game topic (animal cruelty) is that more and more animals get abused every year.I learned more about Flash and how to use the diffrent tools that are on there.Now that I'm at kind of a pro at computers it will help me at my job.

What I'm going to talk about is how  awesome my name is.My name is AiR H3Ad and it is awesome because it's a awesome candy and it fits for me because I got a big head.I made up my name with the help of some of my friends.Now everybody calls me that name and now it has became my "official" name.So anybody trying to call my real name,I will not answer them,or at least try not to.

Stand and Deliver

I feel that the people that work for the test agency are just racist and mea.They think just because the students are from poor cities can't be smart and can't learn AP calculus.I thik those guys need to be fired because they were racist towards the students.The students shouldn't had have to take the test again just because these fools from the test agency predict that thety cheated.They werent even in the room the first time the students had to take it, so they should have just let it go.




                             

The Big Test

The TAKS test is near. But I think I'm ready for it.I've learned alot from alot of from every teacher.I am not excited for it because I know it's boring and hard.When TAKS is over I'm going to go home sit back and relax like I'm rich.I'm going to study hard for the math one because I have trouble with it.I just want to get it over with so I don't need to worry about it anymore.

iPads For Kids

What I think about iPads for kids is good.Even though WE DON'T have any I hope WE DO get some.I mean it's messed up the school in Kuntucky that have some 2nd graders that have iPads.We are 6th graders with some old computers and we are more responsible then the little kids.Now thars just messed up.

Game Demo Progress

Our game demo progress is going good.I still have to finish the rest of the demo.I have learned nothing new in Flash but I got alot of my game done.....kind of.I am kind of proud for what I did, even though my partner was GONE for a day.I have not acomplished anything else new only my game demo was about it so yup that was about it.

Playing Games for Ideas

The game I played was called BoomBot 2.I got ideas like drag and drop.The develepors used alot of Drag and Drop to drag the bomb so that the robot can make it home.The tutoral spot for this game is drag and drop and animations.There are platforms and everything so you have to find way to make the boom bot make it home with explosions.

Game Progress

What I learned how to do on Flash is make our main character move with the keyboard.I also made the character turn like if hes facing to the right i can make him turn to the left then move in that same direction.I also made or started our last level of our 5 levels.I am frustrated that I havent figured out how to make the charater come down after he jumps he goes  up and everything but he just wont come down.I think that I have done well getting our charater to move I just need to work on it some more so our game wont suck or be boring.

Obama visits Tech Boston Academy

Dear President Obama,

I would like you to come visit our school.It would be cool if you visited our school since you visited the Tech Boston Academy.We would welcome you and would be honored to have you here at EACPA.I think you should visit or school because we are a college prep school.We are also the only school in the whole state of Texas that has Globaloria.If you saw our school in person you would be amazed on what my fellow classmates and I could do on a computer also on this program called Flash.

Blogging

I would tell them that students need blogger because it helps their writting.It also helps them with grammar and help them not make the same mistakes over and over again.Especially ESL students trying to learn english and blogger helps them with their english.Some disadvantages for blogger though is that some kids don't know how to use a computer and so they have trouble writting with the computer.I would say to let kids have blogger if they wanted it so they can become better writters.

Whatever It Takes

The movie Whatever It Takes is about this charter school called the Bronx School for Math and Science.It's a new high school that just opened.A guy named Edaward Tom that is a new principal in that school.He was a teacher before he was a principal.At that school kids were doing drugs,dropping out,failing and other things like that.This girl named Sharifa was failing miserably so the school was debating on wether or not to send her to that summer institute that she got accepted to.So they let her go and she passed her exam and then she got to go to college.

Bloons Tower Defense 3

What I liked about this game is that you got to buy monkeys and you have to pop these balloons.When you start getting on higher levels the ballons start getting coverd with iron and stuff.If you let to many balloons get away from you,you loose lives then game over.Some game ideas i got from this game is graphics.I liked this game but it's not my favorite it gets boring after a while.

The Wizard

The Wizard is about this little boy named Jimmy.Jimmy is determined to go to what he calls California.He has obsticles during his journey so his brother steps in and helps him.Along the way they meet this girl who also goes with them to help.They want to go to California so they earn money by Jimmy playing against people at video games because hes really good at it.They earn money to go to California and they compete in a video game competition and Jimmy won.

Spring Break

What I'm going to do over spring break is be bored and lazy.I'm going to get to go to a baseball camp at Dishk Faulk Field over at UT.I'm only going for 4 days then it's back to the normal life back at home.I also think that our mom and dad are taking us somewhere cool but I can't figure out where were going.So yup that about explains my spring break.

My Future

What I think my life would be like in the future,would probably be like my mom and dad.I would have to be paying bills.Hopefully I would be making big bucks and getting a good job.I hope to live in a mansion (even though it's not going to happen).I also hopefully would have a nice car.I want to accomplish college so I can look like I'm smart.Then I'll be living the good life.

More Thoughts on Globaloria

My opinion on computers and technology is that they are not hard to use or figure out.I think I know mostly about computers because I've used them since the second grade.Iv'e learned over the beginning of the school year.I'm hoping nto learn more about computers before the end of the school year.

 1.What I've learned in Globaloria is how to upload files to a flash drive.

2.My favorite thing about Globaloria is that we get to be on computers and not have to use pens and paper and other boring stuff like that.

It came together because we went with my topic and my partner just threw in his ideas into the game and I went along with it.

Hessel is mostly the "Boss" he has the jobs that has the most work and I just have the little stuff like artist and other stuff like that.We just listen to each others ideas and then we fix them if we think its weird or bad then we just go along with it.

We mostly use the web such as Google and Wikipedia and other websites like those.
5. Explain the game play. What does the player have to do?
The player has 5 levels where he has to rescue animals from their abusive owners and you have a water gun and you have to spray the owners with it.
6. Has this changed since you first started planning your game? How?
It has changed because we added to it and made it better with each others ideas and opinions.

Malcom X

Malcolm X was a leader like MLK and he was trying to stop segregation.He started off his life poor.He didn't get to know his dad because the whites killed him.Then when he grew up in school his white teacher told him that he can't be successful in life and to be a Carpenter.After he finished  school he became a thug.During this time he robbed this white man's house and they got caught by police.He stayed in jail until it was time to come out.Then he met this Muslim

  Malcolm X started preaching for Elijah Muhammad.Malcolm X really liked Elijah as a friend.Then after a while Malcolm found out that Elijah had got 2 girls pregnant so he started not liking him.Then he started talking about Elijah.Malcolm started saying that not only black people could be Muslim,that all people could.He then was told not to talk about the assassination of JFK but he did any way and Elijah silenced him for doing so.Then since he started going against the Muslims and then they wanted to kill Malcolm.One day on one of his speeches he was shot and killed while doing his speech and he died there on the stage.

My Behavior

The reason we are not playing the game is because bad behavior.People were talking and other stuff like that.It took us 10 minutes to get ready and sit down and read.Then it took us forever to put them back.Finally we took forever to be quiet that's way we didn't play our game.

My Dream for the Future

My dream for the future is to go to college.I want to become a baseball player or some other job that I can't think of.This will probably be good for me so I can make some big Dinero and have a nice car and stuff like that.O yeah I also remembered what else I wanted to become,I wanted to become a cop.

Teams

What I think about working in teams is that it's OK.I think I get more work done when I'm alone but working in a team is also a good way to meet a new person.Some advantages of having a team mate is that you can get more work done.You also don't have to do the work by yourself.Some disadvantages are that your partner might be having trouble about something and you already know what to do,and that sometimes gets your team behind.

AiR H3Ad has a problem with animal abuse.He hates animal abuse because he has a chiuaua at home and he couldn't stand seeing him go through all those bad things that some humans have to even hurt the animal.So he would like to help animals and rescue them from their abusive homes.So he started to save animals and started an a saving animal team.

Improvment on our game

What I think that could better our game is that we need to rethink a way that could make our more fun.Based on what most of comments said is that to better our graphics so we have to work on that also.I think that the comments that our friends or classmates wrote were pretty true.I think from all the other games I saw ours was OK it wasn't good but it was OK.

The Pact

What I learned from The Pact is that you can be successful no matter what you are,where you live,or anything like that.The doctors had alot of peer pressure in their school years but they managed to go to college.Since they were able to do that they were inspirational to kids,teens,and adults.They thought that community work and talking to kids about school and other important stuff like that so they quit their jobs so they could do that stuff.So then they moved on now ones a dentist,ones a professor,and one is studying medicine at two different hospitals.

My Book

The book that I'm reading right now is called Lord Loss.It's about some kid named Grubbs and he has a feeling that his parents and his sister are keeping secret from him.He later on finds out that he was right.One day his mom dropped him off at his Tia's house and when his tia was listening to her favorite radio station he snuck out and went to his house and found something that made him scream like no other person would scream.

My winter break was a ok one.I'm kind of glad that I'm back because I missed my friends but then again I'm not because of all the work we have to do.I still communicated with some of them but I think it's better to see them face to face.I'm now satisfied that I'm back.
